Hey y’all!
I was asked to make a pig and a monkey as part of an Easter gift, so I thought why not make my own cute patterns for them?
So if you also want to celebrate Easter with a cute amigurumi monkey holding a banana, this free monkey crochet pattern is easy to make. I’ll walk you through all the steps with photos along the way!

Yarn and Materials
Yarn
I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, but you can use any weight 4 yarn you want! This pattern took less than one skein of the dark brown, so you don’t use very much of the other colors either. I used light brown, dark brown, light yellow, dark yellow, and black.

Stuff the bottom and slip stitch the end closed.

Banana peel:

Starting from here on out, you will separate the banana into 3 sections that are 4 stitches wide. To switch sections, FO the yarn and then attach it to the next section.
(Don’t forget to CH 1 and turn at the end of each round.)
For each section:

Stuff
Sew the peels down so they don’t stick up. Use the ends to make a sort of net to keep the stuffing in.
Banana top:

Stuff
Sew onto bottom of banana.
Sew the banana into the monkeys hands.
Tail:
